Also, any solvents or reagents can be used in the system’s solvent reservoirs and multiple chemistries can be used during the synthesis of a single peptide. For example, if your protocol calls for double coupling, HBTU can be used for the initial coupling and DIC can be used for the second. This is very useful for today’s creative peptide chemists.
