Lifting Solutions Take Businesses to New Heights

August 26th, 2010

In keeping up with the challenge of rapid globalization and industrialization, many businesses today require lifting solutions to boost its performance and stay on top of the industry.

Many companies that use logistics solutions are being introduced into the state of the art
and top-rated crane handling machines to enhance productivity and overall performance.

Manufacturing industries for instance consider logistics solutions, which include movement and transport of heavy materials, as a major component of its entire chain of production and delivery.

Industry players in the transport sector on the other hand, depend much on the use of crane handling machines to move large volumes of cargo and achieve faster turnaround rate.

High-performance crane handling machines are also essential requisites for achieving faster and easier lifting of heavy construction materials used in building many of today’s skyscrapers.

“What we have achieved today would not have been possible without one important piece of

equipment that lifted us to possibilities,” according to a veteran mechanical engineer Tom Ryan, who has worked as crane operations head in several major construction projects.

“Cranes worked wonders for humanity,” says Ryan, adding that, “it made an impossible job, possible.”

Crane handling machines such as those with mounted beams and swing jibs that are complete with either mechanical chain hoists or electric chain hoists and fixed lifting gears
provide efficiency in work.

Many firms specializing in lifting equipment have sprung in recent years in a bid to meet the growing demand for such lifting machines across the vastly growing transport, manufacturing and construction industries.
But industry experts caution clients to tap only those whose products and services are
fully compliant with known global certification standards such as Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations (PUWER).
